Shomporko Desk: Mainland china reported a second consecutive day of no new local COVID-19 infections as the previous epicentre of the current pandemic, Hubei province opened its borders for travel, but imported cases rose as Bejing enforced controls to prevent a resurgence of infections.
A total of 67 new cases were reported as of March 25th, all of which were imported, China’s National Health Commission said in a statement on Thursday. This comes as Hubei province opens its borders for travel.
The total number of cases in Mainland China now stands at 81,285.
