Shomporko Desk: Muntaka Ahmed, daughter of Mr. Naimuddin Ahmed, Consul General of the Bangladesh High Commission, in Canada, has achieved a prestigious position as the president of the University of Toronto Student’s Union.
She is a 3rd-year Immunology, Health and Disease major student. This success not only made her parents proud of her, but also the Bangladeshi community here in Toronto, but Canadians are also happy and excited about this and community leaders hope with this successive merit, she might join mainstream Canadian politics someday in the future.
The political arena always looks for successful and meritorious candidates who could contribute to the party and the land as well with visionary prospects. As Bangladeshi Canadians, we are also very much proud of her. We look forward to seeing her bright and successful future.
