MOSCOW – An automated Russian payload transport dispatched effectively Monday with a heap of provisions for the International Space Station.
The Progress MS-16 load transport launched as planned at 9:45 a.m. (0445 GMT) from the Russia-rented Baikonur dispatch office in Kazakhstan and arrived at an assigned circle on the way to the station.
It is conveying water, fuel and different supplies and is set to dock at the space station on Wednesday.The space station is presently worked by NASA’s Kate Rubins, Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover and Shannon Walker; Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency space traveler Soichi Noguchi; and Russian Space Agency Roscosmos’ Sergey Ryzhikov and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov.
