TORONTO – Dozens of impacts were accounted for on Toronto-region expressways Monday morning after snowfall caused dangerous conditions across the area.
A winter weather travel advisory was issued for the GTA and much of southern Ontario today ahead of about five and 10 centimetres of snowfall this morning.
Hefty snowfall was found in the city between 5 a.m. what’s more, 9 a.m. however, has since tightened.
GO Transit said the tricky conditions caused GO transport deferrals of between 15 to 20 minutes or more and OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said officials reacted to various crashes on GTA roadways toward the beginning of today.
“We have around three dozen happening at this moment. We’ve most likely got around 100 crashes as of now since this framework truly started from the short-term hours. So it has been an extremely bustling morning,” he told CP24 on Monday.

Environment Canada is requiring a high of 4 C in Toronto today and more mellow temperatures are in transit.
Times of downpour or snow are in the gauge for Toronto on Tuesday alongside a high of 5 C and Wednesday will see a high of 3 C and more day off downpour.
