Starting next week, the Ontario government says outdoor weddings with up to 50 guests will be permitted. These guidelines only apply to wedding services, not receptions.
On Monday, Lambton Public Health will be put on lockdown. In the Greater Toronto Area, no changes were made to any public health units. According to the government, the case rate in Lambton increased by 30.9 percent from March 3 to 9, to 110.0 cases per 100,000 people.
The number of COVID-19 hospitalizations in the region increased by 33.3 percent during the same time period. In a statement, Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. David Williams said, “The next few months are critical.”
