Through the COVID-19 Resiliency Infrastructure Stream and the Small Communities Fund of the Investing in Canada infrastructure plan, the Government of Canada is investing more than $1 million in these projects.
The Newfoundland and Labrador government is contributing more than $407,000, with participating municipalities contributing more than $29,000. Window replacements at Canon Richards High in Flower’s Cove, improvements to the Hawke’s Bay pumphouse, and lighting at the College of the North Atlantic’s St. Anthony Campus are all part of the project.
These projects will benefit the community by improving the learning environment for students and making facilities more efficient and welcoming to residents. Stephenville’s public and provincial buildings, as well as the lighting on the college campus, will be upgraded. The projects will aid in lowering maintenance costs and providing a more dependable service.
