According to authorities, a trench collapse at an Ajax construction site may have injured up to three individuals.
On Monday, August 8, at about 12:15 p.m., the event took place close to Rossland and Westney roads.
According to Durham Regional Police, an Ornge air ambulance is now in the vicinity and has already taken one patient to the hospital.
Drivers should note Rossland between Ravenscroft and Westney roads is currently off limits as police investigate.
Ontario’s Ministry of Labour is also probing the situation.
