Homicide detectives are looking into the death of a man found with gunshot wounds in a Mississauga home early Sunday.
Around 6:40 a.m., Peel Region Police received a 911 call regarding an incident which took place in a home near Goreway Drive and Morningstar Drive.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a man with gunshot wounds, he was pronounced at the scene.
Officers are notifying next of kin, so no age has been released.
A command center has been established, and the area around the house has been cordoned off with police tape.
The homicide bureau of Peel police has taken over the investigation.
