Tanvir Ratul
Our species have been
looking after each other for hundreds of centuries.
In the streets, we found each other,
in the factories of suffering,
in the offices of boredom,
in the prayer-rooms of damp,
in freezing homes, meal-less schools
We found the first ones
either to lead
or wanted to be led,
and there were those who approached us, with the purpose of abuse
To this past, always with regret and hatred
It’s been centuries,
and we have finally learned that
the struggle and the effective rise doesn’t require puppeteer or strings
none necessary for battle of human beings
With all of us and fire, we’re sitting around so
sweet and happy,
and it’s like we are going to teach ourselves to dream again
no doubt that, the people of reform and tenacity
that, this movement, all are blind
and read me an alternative lyrics
forgetting the past decades, touch of the community, pain of this helpless
soil.
The fight for human dignity is the praise of the appraisal.
Let the people of appeasement, the oil and the runt and the wealth of fear
tremble,
every tale of this fire becomes brighter
What I see, in these days, is a movement towards the variety, towards the true
depth,
without the water and colour of religion
With this movement on the constitution of man,
of construction of dignity, I write
Long live the revolution!
And I know that, the horror boots and iron fists are on the way
I know
But, what of this movement will not condemn,
is the beginning of a fall:
the happy fall of another wasteland
Fall for a new system
