Shomporko Exclusive: Alleged producer Nazrul Islam Raj, actress Shamsunnahar alias Pari Moni, model Faria Mahabub Piasa, and Maryam Akhter Mou, who is in the custody of CID, have named their guests during interrogation. Hearing the names of these established people of the society, the eyes of the investigators were dazzled. The electronics devices recovered from them contain several video and audio call records of the blackmail tool. Many were in their possession because of these secretly held records. Because of those records, the gang has taken crores of taka and prestigious gifts by taking them hostage.
CID is checking and sorting the information of 21 people involved in the Pari Moni, Piasa, and Mou circle. It is known that two teams led by CID Special Superintendent for North Zone Khaledul Haque Hawlader and Special Superintendent for South Zone Shamsunnahar are investigating their cases separately. So far, the investigator has found a lot of information. They also took evidence from the RAB during the operation. CID officials will also talk to RAB and DB who were involved in the investigation. According to sources from CID, Pori Moni said some of the names of that person, those who are directly involved with her. They are The City Bank Director Mr. Rubel Aziz, MD of the same bank Mashrur Arefin, Chairman of a multinational company Rakibul Islam, Indian businessman Prems Bawani, Owns of expensive brands in Gulshan Ibnul Hasan Khokon, Owns a liquor store Rana Shafiullah, Managing Director of Union Bank ABM Mokammel Haque Chowdhury, Chairman of Fareast Islamic Life Insurance Nazrul Islam, Diamond world owner trader Dilip Agarwal, Ittefaq journalist, and Shale Bar director Faraji Ajmal, Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital Dr. Manilal Ich Lichu, Garment merchant Real Roman, Mohakhali councilor Kala Nasir, Engineer Abdul Halim, Principal, Uttara Medical College Dr. Sabbir Ahmed, Jatiya Party MP Yahya Chowdhury, former secretary-general of the Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists Omar Farooq, Upazila Chairman Zahiruddin Mahmud Lipton Chowdhury from Feni, a businessman from Gazipur Rakib Sarkar.
Previously, Additional DIG Omar Farooq told that a search operation had been carried out at the homes of six key accused on Saturday. Some signs and devices have been recovered. Laptops, desktops, passports, mobiles, hard disks, and Ferrari vehicles were seized. Referring to the search operation as part of the investigation, he said, “I am interrogating everyone including Parimoni, Piasa, Mou, and Raj.” They are being questioned about the seized signs. At this stage of the investigation, we have received some important information.
However, it is not possible to disclose the information at this moment. We know many names of professions involved in their fraud, immoral activities, and misdeeds like blackmailing. These are being checked and selected. Legal action will be taken against those whose names have been found to be involved in the investigation. Additional DIG of CID Sheikh Omar Farooq said that the cases being investigated by CID are related to drugs. We will take cognizance of any information or complaint on other issues. The six accused in the custody of the CID are accused of possession of drugs and hostage-taking and blackmailing in the name of the party. Asked if any victim has been found so far, the CID official said no victim has lodged a complaint with the CID so far.

CID will not give exemption to anyone involved in blackmail and immoral activities of 8 accused including Pari Moni. In the interest of the investigation, every accused in the custody of CID including Pari Moni will be interrogated by applying for remand if necessary. Pari Moni’s four-day remand will end today.
