How did you step in the media?
Adnan: I always had passion for making and joined the celebrated director Mostafa Sarwar Farooki’s team to break in the media. I joined Farooki as an assistant director and worked in notable films including Ant Story (Pipra Bidya) and No Bed of Roses (Doob). In 2016, I started making commercials myself.
When did you make your first teleplay?
Adnan: In 2018, I launched myself as a television fiction maker with Modern Times jointly with Nazmul Nabin under the banner of the Bhai Brother Express. I am really happy that Modern Times got warm audience reception.The fiction also landed Meril Prothom Alo award in the Best Director category jointly with Nazmul.
Do you intent to make movies?
Adnan: Movie is the ultimate goal for any maker and I am no exception. I want to make some good moves that would make me satisfied as a maker and will also help entertain the audience.
Then what is stopping you to make movies?
Adnan: Movie is a completely different language than add or television fiction making, so it requires some preparations. I am currently preparing myself for films because I am really serious about it. I have some very good ideas but just waiting for the best moment to strike.
What are your future plans?
Adnan: To make some very good movie that will bring international recognition for Bangladesh.
