Shomporko Desk:-The Ontario’s provincial total now stands at 3,255. The province confirms 462 new cases of the novel coronavirus, marking a 16.5 percent increase over yesterday’s total. The update from the province also includes 14 new COVID-19-related deaths, bringing the total to 67. There are 1,023 cases now considered resolved.
Another four deaths were reported at the Pinecrest Nursing Home in Bobcaygeon, bringing the total to 20. The home had previously reported that dozens of staff and residents have contracted the coronavirus. The local health unit says it is the largest outbreak of COVID-19 in the province.
