Shomporko Desk:- 214 Canadian citizens left Dhaka by a special flight of Qatar Airlines left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 9:00 pm on Tuesday.
“Canadians are returning home onboard a Canadian government-assisted flight from Dhaka. Thank you to the Government of Bangladesh, and QatarAirways, for your invaluable assistance and cooperation in getting stranded Canadians home,” said a message from the Canadian High Commission.
Another special flight carrying Canadian citizens is also scheduled to leave Dhaka on April 16, said an official of AVSEC.
Bangladesh extended the suspension of air communication to and from Dhaka until April 30.
