‘ABACAN Family Night’

The “ABACAN Family Night” was held in a splendid and bustling manner. On January 26th, a wonderful meeting of the friends and family of the Bangladeshi agriculturalists was apprehended in Scarborough at the “Grand Palace Banquet hall.”

Under the leadership of ABACAN president, Krishibid Kamal Mustafa Himu and general secretary Shirin Nurun Nahar Khanam.along with Krishibid  Mohammad Kamruzzaman Swapan, this event was very well organized on the tone of celebrating the family and culture of Bangladesh. Krishibid Shuvra Shiuli Saha was the emcee of the event.

The spontaneous presence of the agriculturalist’s family, and the Minister and MP Bill Blair sent his representatives to honor us. The Chief Guest of the event was Member of the Ontario Provincial Parliament (MPP) Doly Begum. Her presence graced all the guests at the event.

Two most dedicated people who made this event even more successful were Hasmat Ara Chowdhury Juii and Soma Chowdhury.  Meanwhile, this year’s Leadership Award was given to agriculturist Sheikh Abdullah. As always, the help of agriculturalists who helped to rotate the economic wheel, Russell Siddiqui, Dr. Mohammad Ali, Nurul Islam Sarkar, Dr. Sushtol Sinha, Pranesh Poddar, Tapan Said, Goutam Sarker, Iqbal Hossain and others.

This program was not only an opportunity to tie and enjoy family life, but it also creates opportunities for our children to get acquainted with our root and culture. In the light of that responsibility, the efforts of agriculturalists will continue in the form of an enlightened society of immigrants, with forgiveness of heart and with the constant love of each other in a new home in abroad.
