A collision on Pickering’s Highway 407 has left one person in critical condition.
Around 3 p.m., the single-vehicle rollover, according to the Ontario Provincial Police, happened on the eastbound lanes of the highway close to Brock Road.
A male driver with critical injuries was airlifted to a Toronto hospital by Ornge air ambulance after it was called to the scene. On his condition, there is currently no word.
The cause of the crash is unknown.
All eastbound lanes of Highway 407 are closed due to the crash. It is unclear when the highway will be reopened.
