The driver of an SUV who fled the scene after fatally striking a male pedestrian in Scarborough on Sunday evening is being sought by Toronto police.
Around 7:30 p.m., a collision occurred near Sheppard Avenue East and Allanford Road, east of Birchmount Road.
The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the spot, according to police.
The vehicle, described as a white SUV with damage to the front, fled the area, police said.
The driver and the vehicle have not been located.
