Shomporko Desk: President Trump on Friday signed a massive, $2 trillion stimulus package for American workers and businesses in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. There are now more than 1,693 deaths and 104,000 confirmed cases in the U.S. The stock market is rapidly making a record high comeback due to this stimulus and is grossing high-profit margins.
Globally, more than 595,000 people have been infected by the virus and it has killed over 27,300 people worldwide. More than 131,000 of those infected have already recovered, but as President Trump said on Thursday, “there is still a long battle ahead.”
