Following a stabbing at a home in Ajax, two persons were taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
On Friday afternoon, Durham Regional Police were dispatched to a residence on Bowles Drive.
When emergency crews arrived at the house, they discovered two persons with life-threatening injuries.
Police said one person was taken into custody.
There is no threat to public safety because of the incident, police said.
Police have not provided any other information so far about the injured parties.
