Shomporko desk : Aagami Mahiraaj is the name of a very talented young boy. Despite of being only 10 years old , he has proven himself to be a very promising artist with a deep understanding of art. His subject of art seems to be towards “Abstract Landscapes “ where his artwork has been influenced by his surroundings, like life near the bay, seascape, birds, marine life, sun, trees and a wavy feeling of space. He tries to incorporate all these things in his art and succeeds in his trademark abstract manner. It was his 3rd birthday, when he, for the very first time, started to play with colors on his canvas with his uncle, artist Goutam Chakrabarty. He used to paint in the comfort of his mom’s lap before his mother became a star in the sky when he was just 5. To feel the warmth of his mom’s presence and to keep those very precious few short memories with his mother alive, he paints everyday. He plays with strokes of his paintbrush everyday.
