Sinthia Hoque:- Actress Sarah Silverman, 50 recently apologies to Paris Hilton for cracking inappropriate jokes directed towards Hilton going to jail in 2007.

After Hilton spoke of this incident earlier this week, Silverman also spoke during an episode of her “The Sarah Silverman Podcast” on March 4th, she said, “I regretted the jokes not years later but kind of immediately”.

Silverman revealed that she had written a letter to Hilton after the awards show but after hearing Hilton’s “This Is Paris” podcast on March 1st, she discovered Hilton never received it.

A day before Hilton was set to begin her jail time following driving violations due to a DUI suspected a year prior, comedian Sarah Silverman made fun of Hilton at the 2007 event.

“I heard that to make her feel comfortable in prison, the guards are going to paint the bars to look like penises”, Silverman said during the event. “I just worry that she’s gonna break her teeth on those things”.

More than decade later, Hilton recalled her embarrassing moment and told her podcast listeners on Monday that she “literally wanted to run out of the entire room, but I was just trying to be strong  and sit there as the whole audience was laughing”.

“It was so painful, specially with what I was going through in my life, to then have people be so mean about it, it was really hard”, Hilton added.

Silverman, who regretted this incident said, “So here I am, 14 years later, telling you, Paris, that I am really sorry”, in her podcast. “I was then and I am, much more completely and with far more understanding, I think, now”.
